On 12th we presented Zerynthia`s Butterfly Oasis project in Fruiz`s Cultural Centre. We planted the oasis in July and although it hasn`t grown very much, at least it`s still there and next year it will be far bigger. In general, the villagers quite like what we`ve done but it`s true that we have to explain better to the people why we aren`t cutting the grass or wild flowers. So, that`s why we have asked the town-hall to put up our Biodiversity and Butterfly identification posters in the village.
Saturday was the official presentation of the European Heritage Days in the Maritime Museum in Bilbo. Throughout October there will be a great offer of outings and beautiful places to visit. Don`t forget that Fruiz`s outing is on 7th October. We will leave the town-hall at 11:00 to enjoy the local beautiful countryside and we will arrive back at 14:00.

In Bakio Butroi Bizirik Trantsizioan is the organizer in conjunction with the Town-Hall. There we have organized two events. On 14th October and 15th October there will be an outings to get to know the coastal landscape. On both days the starting point will be the Txakolingunea at 10:00 and will end at 13:00.
