Until when?
Today in Fruiz someone killed a great-spotted woodpecker. It`s a beautiful bird with that touch of red on the head but the red on the stomach is that of a gunshot wound. It`s terribly sad!!
Just before Christmas a “shooter”, maybe the same one, shot dead a woodcock, not far from the same place. The worst thing about it was that it was that close to the house that it was propelled against the wall by the shot leaving the feathers on the wall! The next time someone could end up getting injured as this shooter doesn`t seem to have any limits!
Tomorrow we are going to report this to the police. This can`t go on! Until when are these shooters going to be allowed to wander freely around our fields? How many of the birds they kill do they eat anyway? How do they find pleasure in this? Thankfully there would seem to be fewer of these shooters but the ones that are still here would appear to be the worst!
